Cuvier's Beaked Whale, 7 m long, weighs 3 tons, newborn baby is 2.7 m long, weighs 250-300 kg. Fatter than other types of canine whales The beak is very short, not clearly visible, the head is melon (more noticeable in males), the forehead slopes down, the lip line is curved upwards. There is a pair of V-shaped grooves under the chin. The tail is quite large.
